Chocolate Chip Olive Oil Biscuits





This olive oil biscuit recipe is just divine, and you can flavour them any old way you want. I have done lemon, orange and cinnamon, and sugar. I have had a block of vegan chocolate sitting in the cupboard for as long as I can remember and because Rissie was home from school today, she thought she would give Chocolate Chip Olive Oil Biscuits a go - they were divine!!!!


Chocolate Chip Olive Oil Biscuits

200-gram caster sugar

300-gram all-purpose or plain flour

2 teaspoon baking powder

150 ml olive oil

4 Tablespoons of Almond Milk.

2 teaspoon vanilla essence

100-gram of your favourite chocolate – roughly chopped


Preheat a fan-forced oven to 180-degrees Celsius.

Line two trays with baking paper.

Roughly chop the chocolate.

Mix the wet ingredients in a jug.

Mix the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Combine wet ingredients and dry ingredients and beat slowly until the mixture forms a dough.

Form into balls using about a teaspoon of the mixture.

Flatten each ball with a floured.

Bake for about 10 minutes until biscuits become golden brown around the edges.

Rest on a cooling tray.
