Conversations with Oday
On Tuesday morning the IOF dropped 2000-pound bombs on a tent refugee camp in Mawasi, Gaza. The most advanced weaponry in the world against canvas, tent poles, and sleeping refuges. The strikes were so devastating they left craters 9 metres deep.
Oday recently said, “I have no words.” And why should he, when the only fact he has known during his short 21-year life is that his life is worth less than others.
Despite going to bed every night and wondering if his family will survive the night, Oday has been behind orchestrating an incredible relief venture in Gaza, delivering much needed water to the area of Khan Younis where access to water means the difference between life and death.
He leaves me speechless. Knowing Oday has taught me more about humanity than I can put into words.
I am trying to help Oday keep his family in Gaza alive. Please help if you can, the smallest of donations can make all the difference for Oday and his family.
I met @oday_aburaida through @projectlovebrocade, a worldwide initiative amplifying the voices of the people of Palestine. Oday and I were matched due to our mutual love of photography.
Any money raised assists Oday's family with the basics that we all take for granted but in Gaza, can mean the difference between life and death. Shelter. Food. Water. Medicine.
There are many ways you can help Oday as follows:
The best way to help Oday is to donate directly to his GoFundMe Account:
