Mary, celebrating 62 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.
Mary was one of the fabulous females of the 2024 Your Face, Your Story Project.
It was lovely spending a little time with Mary who is truly embracing her age and celebrates everything about it. I asked Mary what the biggest positive thing about her age was and I loved her reply. Mary said, “Young enough to enjoy my cherished grandchildren, wise enough to be my bohemian colourful self, fortunate enough to give generously every day to my community.”
If Mary could go back in time and talk to her younger self she would tell her “Believe in yourself.” Something that we should all tell ourselves repeatedly, regardless of our age.
The Your Face, Your Story Project is a project of inspiration celebrating the lives of 40 women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.
You can now register for the 2025 Your Face, Your Story Project; a project of inspiration, challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing. You can find full details on my website. The project will run from now until mid-January 2026 for shoots and will culminate with a celebratory exhibition on Friday 6th February 2026.
Seven females have already registered so I am looking for 33 more!!!
