On fire.

The ceasefire that was never a ceasefire is no more as once again the bombs rain down on Gaza. People are using donkey carts to get the dying and injured to hospitals that have no electricity, no fuel, no water, and no medicine. The White House advised that it consulted with Izzy before the air strikes began. Meanwhile Izzy continues to bomb Lebanon, Syria and Yemen and Orange Man has been tweeting that from here on he will consider every retaliatory shot fired by Yemen as a shot fired by Iran and the consequences will be dire. Meanwhile in the civilised west, our esteemed leaders are so busy wishing their Muslim Constituents well for Ramadan that they cannot address the ongoing slaughter in the Middle East of which we are all complicit.

I will never understand why we are all so happily able to ignore the fact that our countries and governments are enabling the two biggest war mongers in the world to set the world on fire.

Once again, the skies are on fire

No medicine, no fuel, no water,

and still, they would not die.

So send in the jets, from way up high

When will we realise

and we are letting them
