Pistachio Bliss Balls

I was craving a snack today, something healthy but tasty and thought I would make some bliss balls!  As I am all out of cashew nuts, I thought I would try a pistachio version.   These were so easy, taking only minutes to make and super tasty.  Love having snacks in the fridge that don’t make me feel guilty!

All ingredients, including the yummiest pistachios, were from Tenterfield Health! Make sure you pop in and say hi to Bec if, in the area, she is also a wealth of nutritional wisdom!

Pistachio Bliss Balls

Makes: 14 balls

1 cup of raw pistachios + a few to grind up for decorative dust

¾ cup of pitted dried dates

4 tablespoons of cacao powder + extra for decorative coating

2 tablespoons of maple syrup

Combine all ingredients in a food processor until thoroughly combined and sticks together when you press the mixture together.

Use approximately a tablespoon of mixture to create a ball.

Roll the balls in cacao powder or pistachio dust (I use my blender and a milling container – if you don’t have this, use a mortar and pestle).
