My Notes From Book Corner

In the world of AI and Chat GPT, one of the most revolutionary things you can do is read.

Read, read, read, and read some more. Read, think, read, read, read, think really hard, read, and then do the right thing. It shouldn’t be that hard. But it is.

I refer to my little book corner as my revolting little book corner. Most days it feels like it is impossible that anything you do could make a difference. This is my little difference. It is a salute to everything I have learnt over the last few years, & everything I have had to unlearn and continue to unlearn. I will be learning and unlearning until the day I die. It is my way of revolting against the horrors that Imperialism, Colonialism, & Capitalism have unleashed on this world and my salute to the First Nations people everywhere, especially on this beautiful country where I am lucky enough to reside. Our First Nations people have always suffered the most and fought the hardest. Our First Nations people are the only ones who are capable of looking after this planet and humanity.

My Little Book Corner contains a sample of books and voices that I believe are important and I look forward to adding to this collection over time and as I learn and read some more.

Be revolting, read. It is never too late to do the right thing.
