An inspiration project that celebrated the Elders of Ngarabal & Jubullum Country. Lara was delighted to work with Helen Duroux, Kamilaroi Elder on this project. This was part of Fire to Flourish Tenterfield, a community lead initiative

Fire to Flourish was an initiative managed by Monash University after the 2019/2020 drought and bushfire disaster in the region. The initiative was all about participatory grantmaking and vesting decision-making power about community funding in community members with local knowledge and deep understanding of their disaster recovery needs and resilience priorities.
