Pull it Down Flip the Flap Book by Matt Chun & The Pull it Down Reader by James Tylor and Matt Chun
Pull it Down Flip the Flap Book:
Crooks and thieves and downright deadbeats — colonial monuments are cooked! Flip the flaps to disappear some dirtbags in this book for kids and their grown-ups. With an index by James Tylor.
The Pull it Down Reader:
The Pull it Down Reader provides a framework for those seeking to better understand and strategise around monuments on Aboriginal Land. James Tylor and Matt Chun contrast Indigenous and colonial forms of memorialisation and discuss the necessity of decolonising colonial monuments while imagining better relationships between collective memory and landscape.
Created as a companion to Matt Chun’s interactive board book Pull it Down, this reader is perfect for those having broader conversations with children and young people about the objects of colonialism and imperialism so frequently encountered on this land.
Please note price is for both the Pull it Down Flip the Flap Book and The Pull it Down Reader
Please note that while I try to maintain a flat rate for Australia-wide postage, large packages may incur a surcharge for postage, which would be invoiced upon confirmation of cost of total postage.
