Sara, celebrating 57 fabulous years with the Your Face, Your Story Project.

I am catching up with Sara this weekend to go over her gallery of images this weekend but before then I wanted to share one more image from her shoot. I love this image – a moment of contemplation and it is so different to the image of Sara on the mountain road.

For me, one of the goals of the Your Face, your story Project shoot is to celebrate the many beautiful sides of the women involved in the project.

I asked Sara what the biggest positive thing about ageing for her was and she replied: “I feel good about my ae, and that’s probably because I’m content and healthy. I’ve had a lot of great experiences and have met and been involved with many wonderful and interesting people. Allowing for the fact that there are always new experiences to be had, I am mostly doing what I want to do. I work for myself, I’ve just published a book. I don’t experience the feeling of invisibility that many older women talk about. I feel very lucky. I have a great family, good friends and a home in which I feel safe and comfortable.”

The Your Face, Your Story Project is all about celebrating the lives of women over 40 and challenging the stereotypes of women and ageing.

Be part of the revolution!

I am looking for 40 women over 40 to be part of this project and I have five spots remaining for this 2024 intake!
